Shelby Youth Ball - a tradition for over 40 years.

Shelby Youth Ball (SYB) is a 100% volunteer organization that is continually tying to improve on past achievments.  We rely on parent-volunteer committees for every aspect of our organization, from coaching to uniforms, concessions to the maintenance of this website.  SYB has been in existence for over 40 years!  SYB is proudly sponsored by local business partners.

 SYB Mission:

 To provide recreational activity for area youth, ages 4 through 14.
*
To foster an atmosphere of good sportsmanship, coachability, and team work.
*  To provide baseball and softball skills instruction through developing work ethic, having a
    positive attitude,  and being a role model for others.
*  To help prepare youth for future competitive, as well as, life situations so they may become
    better citizens.

The Shelby Youth All Volunteers and Parents meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at Premier Catering on Ward Avenue, La Crosse, WI.  These meeting are run under the direction of the SYB Executive Board and are specific to youth baseball and softball operations.
